Plagiarism and Artificial Intelligence Policy
Considering that plagiarism is not an acceptable practice in the field of academic publications, the journal Aportes Nueva Época uses the specialized software Turnitin to detect plagiarism. Manuscripts will be submitted for review with the aforementioned software before being sent for editorial and academic opinion.
Any proposed article in which plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, deliberate omission of references, or use of material (data, images, etc.) without proper permission is detected will be rejected.
If the use of similar information or a verbatim copy of another text is detected in the evaluation process, the author will be notified of the rejection of their text and the reason for such rejection.
The Aportes, Nueva Época journal does not accept any text or image generated by artificial intelligence, including NLP (natural language processing) or LLM (large language models) systems, such as ChatGPT, Reuters-GPT, Meta's Llama-2, Bloomz, among others.
